Banking looking good
The banking sector looks very positive, The Fed is expected to cut rates further in December, And in India, interest rates may come low in January, Therefore, the brokerage is bullish on banks, In the madcap space uco, axis banks looking good.
Jaiprakash Associates Ltd
Over 6 lakh shares changed hands on the counter. The rally followed media reports that the company may raise capital by selling equity in Jaiprakash Power Venture. The company had also announced earlier on November 7 that it plans to invest Rs 500 crore to construct a greenfield sports complex in Kanpur, and townships in and around the national capital region. The stock has jumped over 60 per cent in the past one month, Jaiprakash Associates Ltd has informed the BSE that December 26 has been fixed as the record date for the purpose of stock split of shares of Rs 10 each into five shares of Rs 2 each, the above particulars tells it is also looking good for two/three month.

The Prime Focus Group is close to reaching final agreement to acquire Post Logic Studios (with offices in Hollywood and New York) and Frantic Films (with offices in Los Angeles, Winnipeg and Vancouver) for a total of $43 million. This will take effect to good performance by this stock in near term.

India Infoline
India Infoline is a good story for the long term, but in the short term, it may face volatility, says Vijay Bhambwani, technical analyst, on CNBC Awaaz. The stock has support at Rs 975, but if it falls below that, then the next support comes in at Rs 850, he says. The stock may face resistance at Rs 1,250, he says. Merger news pushes up Dhampure Specialty Sugars
Dhampure Specialty Sugars Ltd rose by its maximum daily limit of 5 per cent to Rs 187.60, after its board approved its merger with Dhampur Alco-Chem Ltd, with Dhampure shareholders getting one share in the latter for each share held. Dhampur Alco -Chem will also spin off its real estate unit into a new company.
